Trouble with HP Compaq dc7100 SFF
Hello there.

I'm having trouble with my HP Compaq dc7100 SFF with 256MB of Memory Pentium 4(R) 3.2G Processor and 80GB SATA HDD..
When I'm booting my unit to windows XP, it only displays a black screen after the startup screen, but the light beside the power button of my monitor is still green which says it's still giving out power from the unit. I tried to Isolate the problem, changing memory, cleaning all the devices inside it. but still I receive the same problem.
I also did try to insert my XP Installer and try to repair my OS but it always HANGS after I accept the agreement EULA(F8)

CAn Anybody help me with this one?
CHEERS.

don't know if this is really a security problem... try reformatting, did this just happen recently, did something happen to trigger it? but it sounds a lot like a hardware problem to me... how old is the computer? it could be the processor...
