Hi, Avast 4.8 recently started crashing alot and I've been trying to uninstall it since. I tried going into Add/Remove, in both normal and safe modes. Tried installing over it, again in both modes. All that happens is that the computer slows down alot, no matter even if there's very little else running, and, from looking at task manager, the "avast.setup" file just appears to freeze.

Anyone know what I should do?

By the way, that log was taken in safe mode, without Avast running. If it had been the computer would have just frozen and I wouldn't have been able to take the log at all

Dont worry guys, fixed it myself. They have a free removal tool on their site, if anyone stumbles across this post with a similar problem
