Cool Cant do online scanners! help
hi i cant seem to use any of the online scanners that are reccommeded in the general security section , ie housecall, panda, etc. i dont know what is the problem, i know its probably my settings on my computer but dont know how to do it, please can anyone help! i use windows vista, thanks

Most of them are ActiveX based and you may be blocking those or there could be entries in the hosts file that is blocking them.

Do you suspect you have an infection or is this just routine checking?

Reset your ActiveX security settings like so... Go to Internet Options > Security > Internet, press 'default level', then OK.
Now press "Custom Level."
In the ActiveX section, set the first two options ("Download signed and unsigned ActiveX controls) to 'prompt', and 'Initialize and Script ActiveX controls not marked as safe" to 'disable'.

Then see if you can run one and if you are successful and it finds anything, please post that log here.
