Alright, I use Trend Micro, sadly I pay for it too. I also have AVG Free on my computer. The question is, can AVG Free get me the same protection as Trend, because Trend Micro has been causing more problems than solutions and is taking up what some are finding an impossible 95.6 GB of my hard drive space.

To be honest, I have used them both. Depending on your browsing and downloading habbits, AVG will be just fine, make sure you stay up to date with any Anti-Virus software you use and scan once a week. AVG is one of the best free Anti-Virus programs out there, as well as Avast.

If TrendMicro's PC-Cillen is taking up 95GB - why?

I would first of all, get direction on using their removal tool, and then re-install it.

Clamwin is a useful AV

High detection rates, detects jokeware (dialers, crackers, keyloggers, etc.)

And I like the scan memory feature, scans memory for malicious processes and can unload them
