Solved: Internet Security Suites
What are the advantages and disadvantages of running a complete internet suite as aposed to running individual apps from various vendors. For example, I use CA ISS on two laptops and run Comodo firewall, Avast antivirus, Comodo Boclean. I cannot tell the difference between running either configuration, but I've been told that running individual apps is better, uses less system resources, etc... Any opinions are welcome.

PS. On all systems I use Spybot S&D, and ADAWARE, and Vista come with Defender, which I have allowed to run on the laptops.

I personally use a lot of different apps. Not just one suite. I do this because some companies are better for other things (such as spyware).
