Solved: Norton 360 Installation Question
I have a Dell Dimension 2400 which came with Norton Internet Security 2004 including Norton Antivirus. I have kept this program updated but I recently purchased Norton 360. Can I install Norton 360 with the other Norton program already on the computer. Will it remove it during the installation since I will no longer be needing it, or should I somehow unistall it. If I need to uninstall it, what is the best way?

Thanks.

You wouldn't want to do that. I have a Dell Optiplex, which, no offense, is probably faster and more capable than your computer. Norton 360, installed on my computer, already lags things down slightly. I would remove the outdated Norton IS and install Norton 360.

My opinion: Dont bother with norton... You will loose the best of your computer having installed it. Its hard to get rid of.

I disagree. Well, it depends on what version. The latest versions are a huge improvement over the last generation -- 2006 and before
