Solved: avg8 free version
just been reading about avg8, has anyone had problems updating this programme after install

I have it on 2 pc's.No problems,other than "immunization entries" from other spyware progs are being picked up as potential problems and there is info about that on the Grisoft site.
AVG antivirus and spyware are updated automatically and I have had no issues there.

avg 8 update
reinstalled avg 6 free,tried to update but get connection to the update server failed.

fixed it . Anyone else strggling to update AVG8 go into the directory in "C" DOUBLE CLICK ON THE avgupd.exe. and presto
