avg 8.0 installation help
hope some one can help me? my brother tried to install the new 8.0. but during installation he gets a pop up saying some thing like "Unsupported Windows Version" and it wont install. he has windows XP. i would be able to help him better but he lives over 100 miles away. and all i can do is talk to him over the phone. what is really hard is. he don't know much about computers.

AVG 8.0 needs XP Service Pack 2, maybe your brother hasn't updated in a while?

so i told him he needs to check to see if his PC needs updating. but when he clicks on windows update he gets a pop up saying. some thing about cant update because of active x security wont allow it. i tried to help him with the Internet option. but it didn't help? have any idea on this one?
