Active X control problems. I am using the Vista OP and suddenly yesterday for the first time it would not allow me to use my Adobe Flash player saying I needed an updated version. It told me first to uninstall the old version, which I did. When I tried to install the new one the info bar said "this website wants you to install the following add on Adobe Flash Player Installer etc. If you want trust the website and the add on and want to install it click here"........so I did and it says "install active x".........good enough, clicked that and when I did that it said "your security settings do not allow websites is use Acitve X controls installed on your computer. This page may not display correctly"........I have used the help section, I have done what they wanted but to no avail. Any suggestions? Now I can't view any YouTube videos, play games etc. Very annoying! |
