Spyware gone...Some pages still won't load though...
Hello.

One of my family members got their computer infected with the Vundo spyware/trojan, and possibly something else as well. The good news is that after running a bunch of programs, it finally cleaned it out so that it is no longer detected. I can verify this also, because before it would not let me get to the windows update page, but I now can.

However... certain pages in certain browsers will not load. For example, on FireFox and IE, Yahoo will not load, Google's main page will load, but no searches will go through. For some reason, Netscape is still installed on this computer, and I get much better results using this browser. I can also only get to the Windows Updates through Netscape. I have both manually and through anti-spyware programs checked the Hosts file, and these sites are not listed in it. Also, for the record, i can access these sites from all other computers in the same house, using the same connection.

Specifically what happens is it seems to be trying to load the page, but just stalls.

Any help would be appreciated.
