Solved: Spyware / Malware - at the end of my rope
I experiencing a problem with System Internal applications along with hijackthis. I use Process Explorer (procexp), FileMon, RegMon, AutoRun and DiskMon. I have Process Explorer set to load at startup and it replaces my TaskMan. I first noticed that Process Explorer was not loading at startup and I began to research the problem. When I click on any of the apps, they come up but quickly go away. I started researching the problem online, however when or if I even type in "Process Explorer" or "hijackthis" in Google to do a search my Internet Explorer (even Firefox) will quickly close once the results are posted. I can't even go onto a page if Process Explorer or hijackthis is mentioned. I can't even review the forum "Malwayre removal & HJC Logs" without it closing my broswer. I have ran SpySweeper, Adware 2008, SpyBot Search & Destroy, and various online scans, and at first I had a view trojans that were removed...however the problem continues to happen. I can't run hijackthis, because it quickly closes as well. lol I probably won't even be able to read this post afterwards because of the words mentioned. Please if anyone has any ideas I would GREATLY appreciate the help. Thanks in advance......<><

Try doing all the scans again in safe mode, maybe that will catch something.

SuperAntiSpyware RULES!!!!!
I was finally able to resolve my issue using SuperAntiSpyware. I ran a full scan and when prompt to reboot I allowed system to reboot. However when system rebooted at first I got the blue screen of death (twice). So I shut the system down and then started it backup and system came up with no problems and now I can run all programs (process explorer, hijackthis etc) and I can search internet. I discovered SuperAntiSpyware reading this forum......so I'm glad I found this site.
