NAV 2008 and zonealarm free, is there a conflict?
This is on my Dell Win XP, SP 2, computer.
In the past I used NAV 2006 and zonealarm free, they worked fine together. Then when I installed NAV 2007 then re-installed zonealarm free, there was a conflict. So I removed zonealarm free. Now Iam using windows firewall.

Then a few weeks ago I was offered NAV 2008 upgrade from symantec, due to problems. Everything seems to be working fine now. But I want to put zonealarm free back on this computer. It there still a conflict between NAV08 and zonealarm firewall? Or did symantec fix the problem in 2008?

I have read that if I turned off the worm protection on NAV 2008 that I could run another firewall without conflict. Is this true.

I also run free superantispyware for spyware. Spybots for immunization.

I really want to run a good firewall and I know that windows firewall doesn't block activity leaving my computer. Please advise me what I can do. To become more secure.

I plan on removing NAV in 135 days, when it expires.

Thank you for your help.

You could try Comodo firewall, Sunbelt, or you could try to reinstall ZoneAlarm

They are all free.
