Problem updating avg 8.0 free edition
My free AVG v8 keeps requiring a restart upon updating. Even after restarting, avg still prompts me for a restart....anyone with the same issue??

Thanks

I think I'd uninstall it, and try to install it fresh.

I had problems installing AVG 8 Free and I found that when I stopped AdAware Adwatch from running, AVG installed normally....

AVG8 has had many issues. Although i have not had one yet this is just one of the many. I would suggest uninstalling AVG and using a different AV until grisoft clears up most of the bugs in the new version
