SecurityStronghold & TrueSword4
Can't seem to get a good feel on this Company and it's products that I'm looking to buy. It's not included in any reviews ANYWHERE, not in CNET,etc...but it's mentioned in these forums as "fixing some issues with malaware, etc"...just wondering why I haven't seen any press on it and is it a decent product if purchased. I seem to have had luck with the TrueSword4 download in identifying issues with an infected computer....BUT it only let me fix 10 items out of the xxx number it identified ???....But no other package found these ?...Just wondering if this "trial" I installed put these virus's on my computer just to make me buy the product.

Any thoughts appreciated

I don't know anything about these products but Googled and found their website. It seemed to suggest that their latest definitions dated back to 11th May (unless I misunderstood what I was seeing!)

It is quite common for 'trial' programs to 'find' and 'fix' a small number of things but require payment and registration to fix the other things it 'found'. Whether or not this is a scam only you can decide.

If you are willing to pay for protection, why not look at programs that are well known and widely acknowledged to be good. One example is NOD32 AntiVirus (which includes anti spyware) and has a 30 day trial ;http://www.eset.co.uk/products/products.php You can see details of many others here; http://www.av-comparatives.org/ (click on the 'online results' links for February and May and be sure to read all the information given).

isecuritysource.com has a bunch of reviews and downloads for security and malware removal. I suggest looking over their for some software.
