Hot to block explorer.exe from trying to contact sa.windows.com?
Every time I use the search in my Windows XP, explorer.exe tries to contact sa.windows.com. I don't really care that it does it except it triggers my firewall each and every time, and I can't figure out how to just allow/not allow it. I'm using sygate as my firewall.

In most firewalls, you can create rules to allow or block traffic. Create a rule that blocks outbound traffic to destination 207.46.248.249 ( sa.windows.com ).
I found the ip address here : http://cqcounter.com/whois/

207.46.248.249 is blocked, and it still asks. I had tried that before as well with no luck.

Isn't there a checkbox that says Remember my answer when it asks for allow or not allow ?

No, wish there was. That's what I do for most stuff. Even went as far as to go into the window where it shows the running programs under Sygate, and left clicked on explorer and hit block, and still it does it?
