Need Antivirus For Win98
I have a Win98SE sys and the norton updates will be stopping soon. I tried loading AVG 8, but it wants Win2000 or newer. What freeware is recommended? What about Avira?

Tnx

I have installed Avast on my mom's older, 98se. computer, more than 2 years ago. It works great and she hasn't had any viruses,(knock on wood)!
We are very pleased with this free software. It automatically updates daily and has a voice that tells you.
I plan on installing it on my Win XP when my present antivirus(NAV2008) expires.

Installed Avast, seems to be working OK. The user interface is a little weird. Thanks for helping.
