McAfee keeps switching protection off
I have McAfee on my computer it's a free part of my Comcast package. The last few days I keep seeing an icon in my system tray telling me I'm not protected. When I click the icon it launches the McAfee program and the Home Screen shows that "Computer & Files" is unprotected. I click on the Fix button and it once again tells me I'm protected, but it changes to unprotected after some time.

When I click on the CONFIGURE button, I see the only toggle that keeps switching is the "SystemGuard" protection. Every time I switch it on, it tells me I am protected, but when the error occurs it's the SystemGuard toggle that is switched to off. I'm not sure if the two problems are related or if there's any risk by not having the SystemGuard enabled. It does concern me that I keep getting the warning icon in the system tray. This problem just started a couple of days ago.

I appreciate any insight on how to proceed.

Thank you!

Please see my post under the Malware and HJT heading entitled "Definitely a problem here" I added more information about what I think the source is and an HJT log. Thank you!
