I started configuring Vista Home Premium as an administrative user and was wondering if it was possible to transfer the configuration for that user to a different standard user account which, from what I understand, would be more secure. It should be possible to switch the administrative user account to a standard user account (haven't seen this either), but I would like the option of using a standard user account with basically the settings I have set up so far for the admin account while maintaining the admin account as is. Is there an easy way to accomplish this? Thanks.

The easiest way would be to create a new account, copy the profile of the original account over to the new one, and then make the new account a limited one.

There isn't too much that can go wrong so long as you don't delete the old profile. You can always remove the new account and start over if something goes wrong.
