confused by computer actions
last week I tried going to a site I'd been to before when I typed in verification code response invalid kept coming back. I figured the site was having problems, UNTIL my daughter tried to create a my space profile. She had difficulty so I sat down with her later that day and we got the same thing invalid verification code entered. So over three days we kept getting same message from two sites.

A fluke or something to check out. I ran both antivirus and antispyware. found nothing. Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

So you surfed to the site and immediately it came back and said "invalid verification code entered" ? Or did you do something on the site, type something in, etc, and then it says "invalid verification code entered"? Did both sites say Exactly the same thing?

thanks for asking.

Site one a magazine site I go to all the time. Quick and Simple. It has a contest I enter. Logged in to contest site, entered code.

Second site same thing My Space went to create an account for my fourteen yr old. Both came back invalid verification code.

They both ask you to type in the 'odd' assortment of letters and numbers. It is an anti=spammer/bot feature.

This place is indicative of my problems. I login, go to a topic, tells me I am not logged in, login, again, if I switch topics tells me I need to login in again. Each time I move around within tsg, without leaving and returning te;;s me login after I do it thanks me for logging in. Go figure.

Good thing I came equipped with patience
