Conflict between MSN and kaspersky
My laptop will not let me log into Windows Live Messenger. After playing around a bit i found that it was kaspersky 7. i tried turning off the firewall but it still doesn't let me. this also happens on another computer we have that also runs kaspersky.

The error code Live Messenger shows is 80048820 and the extended code is 80048418

When i press the troubleshoot button when the error pops up it says: Failed to connect to the service. This could be due to improper proxy or firewall settings. Please review your proxy and firewall settings. Proxy settings can be accesse through Windows Live Messenger Options. For Firewall settings, please see the retailer's instructions.

Please help

For basic text messaging, I believe it needs TCP port 1863.
