AVG Antivirus Keeps Shutting Off On Windows Vista
Hi everyone. AVG Antivirus 8.0 Free Edition keeps shutting down on my friend's Windows Vista Home Edition Basic computer. Could you please tell us how to fix this problem?

The first thing I would try is to uninstall then reinstalling AVG. If it still keeps turning off then I would suspect that some malware is trying to turn it off. Then I would try some of the online scanners like the ones listed in the sticky Security Help Tools.( near the top of all messages in this forum )
