Question Vista firewall
OK i am currently running windows vista firewall with free AVG8 and Spybot S&D is there any real need to get a different firewall if you guys can suggest a protective user friendly and most importantly free firewall thats vista compatible twould be appreciated

Vista has an excellent built-in firewall. If you decide to use another, be sure to shut it off. If all you want is a little more control, like with a thrid-party firewall, try this Vista firewall control program:

PCTools has a good one, but I prefer Comodo's. Both are free.

Vista has a good firewall, so I don't see the need to load third party software.
In its default configuration, however, it only protects one way (like XP). It needs to be configured to get the two way protection.
