Trojan Horse
Yesterday my AVG (7.5.526) listed 5 Trojan Horses:
1. Name: hpztbu06. exe
Path: C:\1386
Size: 184 kb
Healable: No
Discovery: Trojan Horse Generic 11.CLR
2. Name: hpztsb06.exe
Path: C:\1386
Size: 184 kb
Healable: No
Discovery: Trojan Horse Generic 11.CLR
3. Name: hpztsb06. exe
Path: C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3
Size: 184 kb
Healable: No
Discovery: Trojan Horse Generic 11.CLR
4 & 5 are the same as #3.
I put them all in the "Virus Vault" Now I have 2 questions, Options are "Delete"- "Restore"- or "Restore as" what should I do? Question 2, Some time ago I was getting, as were others, some false Virus readings on a file, could this be the case here?
I now have a different email address. "rsimoneau1 (at) wi.rr.com" I don't know how to change same in the Tech Guys site!!

Hi,

Those are legitimate HP files from a printer probably, see this:

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?p=1293859

Explains things and shows you that you can Restore the files out of the Vault...also note about the latest update from AVG....usually, these FP's are being seen in the newer version 8 of AVG- you've probably had a major program update so you are using the newer scanning engine....whatever caused it, it's a false positive....

For your user account, to change your email details, you click on "My Account" at top of the page....next, down to the category on your left side....."Edit Email and Password".....follow what it tells you there.
