Error in downloading updates
Good afternoon. As a new member and a beginner with this Computer lark, I hope I am going about this in the right manner. On the 13 Aug on checking for updates I noted there were three.Try as I might I was unable to download them. Each time I attempted to download I received the following: !!!bad checksum! Could you please help me with this. Thankyou.

Your best bet is to download a program called Dial-A-Fix, you can google it to get the URL. Run the progam and select Widnows Update from the check box and this program will repair your Windows Update. You should be able to download the updates just fina after that.

I'm sorry if I have misled you. My problem is with Spybot S@D and not with Windows. Although your info is duly noted for future reference. Are you able to help me with my Spybot problem? Thanking you in anticipation.

I had the same problem when trying to d/l from Canadian server. I then chose another server and d/l went ok. So try other server's until you find one that works.
