Norton 360 Problems Aug 2008
After using Norton's products for several years, I subscribed this year to N360 and have had nothing but problems and Norton has been of little help. they just say re-install. MY first problem was the backup wanted to run over and over all day long, driving my CD drive nuts. I disabled backup. Then I constantly had 2 fixes in red, regarding email and intrusion, that would never fix. Now all of a sudden, I cannot connect to the Internet. Worked with my ISP provider (Windstream) and all is fine. They suggesed I call HP ( I have HP Pavilion) We restored to another day, yet each day the same problem. They think it has to do with N360. Tomorrow, HP and I are going have to do a Recovery. I am even disabling Nortons firewall and still have problems. I do have Windows firewall up. I am at my wits end on what product to use. I think Norton had a terrible product, which I paid a years subscription for and their techs no help. This is now Aug 2008. You would think Norton would have things fixed. I have auto update, so I shouldn't have to seek their update????? I was disgusted with McAfee years ago and that is why I went to Norton. I hear McAfee has problems too. So what are people using???

www.eset.com Nod 32. That is all I have used for over 10 years. Newest versions keep out spyware and virus.
