Solved: crawler tool bar
Hello everybody, I recently installed spyware terminator and it comes with this crawler tool bar. I like it. so far so good. However, I have an anonymizer program as well and when I use this program it blocks my access to this website www.crawler.com saying it is a dangerous site. I searched for some comments on the crawler toolbar and e-mail account, and have found contradictory notes... some say is spyware, adware and browser exploit... some say it is not... my antivirus and spyware has not detected any problems at all ....

I have Avira Antivir
superantispyware
spyware terminator
comodo firewall pro
and malwarebytes anti malware

any comments on this as an advice please?

thanks in advance

Hi is there a way in the settings for your anonymizer program to accept your crawler tool bar as safe?

Wink crawler tool bar / anonymizer
Thanks for your response,

Yes, but not so sure it will accept is as safe, what it does it gives me the option to continue to the site by filtering the bad content, blocking the active x and java

when in the site, it continues to warn me about specific areas of it... in this case the free goodies...

in the general settings of the program I can always disable the malicious web site filtering... but I feel exposed to anything without it.

I know it would be very dangerous to even consider to download the free goodies such as the smileys and or the wallpapers and screen savers... although they look soooo tempting...

with this warning I was just worried that the whole website was malicious, however I have not found any bad reviews about it so far... other than be cautious with the free goodies...

do you consider this tool bar safe enough? the web alert option built in it is good I think... I am getting paranoid... but I already had a bad experience with a pharming attack once... and I feel the need to protect me in all the possible ways available out there...

your input will be greatly appreciated!

Hi I have no experience with said toolbar.
You will have to decide after your research if you feel that using crawler toolbar is ok.
One link you may have seen.
