Blue screen error when computer is idle
Hi guys, my computer is crashing when i leave it alone for about 10 minutes +
I can be using it for several hours straight, but if i go to have a shower or something and i come back, there is a blue screen error, and it keeps restarting itself, and then the error message keeps changing.

some of the files mentioned in the error are : ks.sys bootvid.dll eamon.sys raspptp.sys

this started after i installed an antivirus program. i uninstalled it, but the error is still there.

any ideas ?
thanks

I had the same thing, I don't know about yours but mine was a spyware type issue. The bsd and "restarting" is a screensaver. When it "restarts" look at the power light on your computer and listen to see if it really restarts. When mine got it if I right clicked the desktop and went to properties the "desktop" and "screen saver" tabs were gone. If this is your issue I would run a spyware/antivirus program, and I have the solution to change your registry back to show the desktop and screen saver tabs in display properties.

Go to the following registry key: HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2951699501-439549582-1499035377-1006\Software\Microsoft\windows\current version\policies\system
(Yours might not have the exact same numbers on the end)

In that key there is a NoDispBackgroundPage and a NoDispScrSavPage...the value should be zero.
