hey everyone... im having trouble downloading my security updates from windows.. the little yellow sheild with the exclamation is coming up but when i start the updates it always comes up as failed... ive tried going directly to the windows updates site and the updates fail there too...
any help would be much appreciated..

there is no error message or number lunarlander.... it just says the update was unsucessful...

Open the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder, then delete all files and folders from inside the Download folder.

Close all windows, then restart your computer.

Open Internet Explorer, Click Tools - Windows Update, then do a scan.
