Open ports and 'time wait'
I viewed my open ports with System Information for Windows and there are two ports open that list 'time wait' in their state. They seem to be pointing to and address of 12.39.144.6 (pctoday.com). The Path and File display as <file not found>. Is this something to be concerned about?

Thanks

According to an explanation found here:
http://www.velocityreviews.com/forum...time-wait.html

Time Wait is the state when a connection is closed and is waiting for additional stray packets.

Thanks... that's a bit clearer to me after reading that. I still am not sure if I should be concerned that I don't know a reason there would be a connection to that IP address, but the connection is no longer listed in the open ports, which makes sense after reading the link you posted.
