Solved: can you please help me with macafee
when I try to use it I only get a white screen coming up, I am using vista home basic on an e machines E4210, I could use it originally but havent been able to use it for the last few months and did not know who to ask until I found this site

Hi and welcome to TSG.
Have you updated the program recently..are you able to update??
You may need to uninstall McAfee and reinstall.
The program may have become corrupted.

hi blues_harp28 and thanks for your reply,it still runs checks on its own and I get messages saying updates were reived but if I try to open it I just get a blank screen,only time I see anything is the report after the scan,I downloaded it from the internet , can I still uninstall and reinstall ?
