Question Need Anti Spyware Advice
I already have AVG anti virus 8.0 Free which contains anti spyware.

I have been recommended to add another and to install SUPERAntiSpyware 4.1 Free Edition.

Anyone know if this a trusted application.

If so , is it one of the best free ones or are there better ones.

If you have AVG8 with the anti-spyware program then you don't really need another but you can have another for on-demand scanning, just be sure you don't enable the real-time protection on both or there could be problems caused by conflicts.

That is not really an issue as Superantispyware will not run in real time unless you use a paid version anyway and to add, imho it is the best antispyware solution out there today!

Hello Keith
If you are keeping AVG8 and want a free scanner for a weekly check

give this a try please as well
What one misses the other will get
Malwarebytes

www.malwarebytes,org
Im not sure how good the AVG spyware component is
Perhaps someone has some information......

hope that is useful to you Keith

Avg spyware scanner is decent, though i is not in a league with Superantispyware or Malwarebytes, but the good news to some is it does run in the background and it is free.

Thanks Rich.
As the starting point was that I had received a recommend for Superantispyware and you and others think highly of it I will go with Superantispyware
