Kaspersky Installation
Hey. I just downloaded the trial version for Kaspersky Internet Security. I heard it was the best for vista and i wanted to try it out. Anyway, I previously had AVG 8 free version, which i uninstalled and what not but when I tried to install KIS, it said that AVG8 was still installed and wouldn't let me continue with the installation. Anybody know whats up here?

Hi not a Vista user but check files and folders for any referencies to Avg.
Some even suggest checking for said files in Safe Mode and uninstall from there.

All referencies to Avg need to be uninstalled..use normal mode if no joy, use safe mode.
