Can anyone help me?
I have 63 processe running in task manager, my CPU usage is 100%, my physical memory usage is 87%.

windows.exe <my user name> 97

all my icons on the desktop are go, only the names remain, and when i try to access a program it is blank.

have downloaded avg but it has not solved the problem

Please help!

When did this start happening ? Maybe you can try a system restore to a prior date.

I tried system restore (dont think it was switched on), tried restarting in safe mode, tried downloading AVG to detect a virus, all it finds is tracking cookies.

I think you have a trojan infection. Please open your C:\Windows\system.ini file using Notepad, copy & paste the text here. If confirmed, then we need to ask a Malware expert to help you.

Cant get online with my laptop(the one with the problem)
But this is what i get in C:\Windows\system.ini

Windows.exe should not be running on your PC, but is not running from where I expected it. You need to have one of the site malware removal experts to help with this.
