Norton problem
Hi I am an intermediate user and have had norton 360 for the last year. Continued symptons of virus crashing the pc out everytime I run a comprehensive scan.

Managed to off load data onto an external drive and have reformatted the hard drive and got the pc back to its virgin state.

The loaded AVAST & ran scan - all ok. Then tried to reimport my old data thinking the virus would be detected as I brought it in - WRONG. Now back to square one with no where to go. Please help !!!

Run Avast on your external HD before you import the data.

Thanks Billy, but that is eactly what I did. can restart again but concerned that the virus is too tough to crack for AVAST or Norton.
