is it virus..?
i had downloaded a antivirus +some text file bout hacking ... wen i scanned for virus a trojan was detected.. but wen i posted it in tat site they justify tat the anti virus contains codes written against virus which is only being detected as trojan .. is it true ..?

Hi in addition to the above question.
Are you running two anti-virus programs?
If yes, when you scan your system it may be picking up the Virus definition files from the other anti-virus program.
And it will say you are infected, when in fact your system is clean.

yeah i do run two antivirus programs

i downloaded a torrent file "100 hacking tools"....

No help with Hacking tools here.

Choose one anti-virus program and remove the other.
If you run both, they will conflict with each other as they try and scan the same files.
And may leave you less protected,not more.

I think it's quite likely the file is 'infected' as some of the more common hacking tools are Trojans.

I would highly suspect that 100 hacking tools torrent too. It sounds like newbie bait.

As above only use one Antivirus

TROJAN= Trojans can be viruses and other malware

Some malware>antivirus programs are picked up as being infected because its the way the software is configured {picked up as a virus}

Smitfraudfix is one example these are classed as FP false positives
