Hi can anyone plz help.I just got my hard drive motherboard replaced with a new one due to overheating.The guy who replaced it has uninstalled my norton and all other security software saying it has to be renewd.At the moment i have nothing to protect my computer while on the net.I dont have the money at the moment to buy norton and do need something for the time being.I was going to install lavasoft adware 2008 but last time i did this it took days just scanning on full system scan,and when i did custom scan it took days to erase infected files.

I second AVG. With seven computers in the house I can't afford Norton... and AVG is better anyway.
