Lightbulb Zone Alarm my biggest trojan...
My computer was almost unbearably slow. It took about 5 minutes for firefox to launch, and webpages were slow, and apps froze often, it was starting to get on my nerves. I went out and bought NOD32 Smart Security. My ISP upgraded me from 4MBPS to 8MBPS and my whole system went faster along with my connection. Anyways zone alarm was the problem. Anyone have the same trouble? Keep in mind I used to use Norton for years with no slowdowns...

Yeah. Zonealarm was the problem. When you went from 4 to 8 MBPS via your ISP. Right.

No problems here at all with 768/128 DSL and ZoneAlarm.
