Hi,
we have had avg 8.0 free running on our computer for several months before this we used avg 7.5 free, we now want to remove avg and use nortons, however every time we try to uninstall we get this error message:
local machine: installation failed
installation:
error: action failed for registry key HKLM/software/microsoft/windows NT/current version/windows:creating registry key.....
error 0x80070005
we have tried to download and install avg 8 again but get same message.
Norton tech support have installed nortons for us but told us to remove avg we told them we have been trying but can't all they could suggest was to conact avg.
I am at the throw the computer through the window stage can anyone help please. I am a bit of a newby so any help in basic (baby) speak would be very helpful
