Dot Com Windows continuously pop up while connected to the Internet
When my laptop is running and I've opened Internet Explorer, I continuously get new Windows that pop up simultaneously as I'm trying to read/work on a specific site. In fact, these Windows pop up even when IE is not open, but I'm connected to my Wireless Router. Pop-Up blocker is turned on.

I click the "x" to close the Windows, but the Windows do not respond and remain open. When I try to minimize a Window, it also does not respond and remains open, and does not allow me to click or work inside the Window. Often there are several Windows open at once; all of which are frozen and won't minimize or close. Some of the sites that I see opening on my laptop include MTN6.com and something called "internet speed monitor;" these are sites that I have never searched.

I'm not sure what's going on, but this activity just started on Saturday when I was using EarthLink as my IP and not my usual Charter High Speed IP.

Any information you can share with me with regards to fixing this problem would be great. I am currently unable to dial into my server at work and use my e-mail without seeing several Windows pop-up, not responding, and interfering with the task at hand.

Thanks.
