Unhappy help!
Hi,
I've been having issues with pop ups for security stuff lately that freeze up my computer. A friend recommended downloading the malware program along with a registry cleaner to fix it up. I did and everything was working great, my computer is faster and I've notice the annoying pop ups are gone and my internet seems to be back on track. Today I went to use the online photoshop to download pictures to a store and pick them up (I don't have a working printer right now). I've done this many times, uploading the pictures I want printed and sending them to the online store but now it won't let me. I get to the page where I'm to upload the pictures and the internet shut off completely and brings me right back to my screensaver, shutting every file I had open. There is no error message or anything it just turns the internet explorer off like I clicked on the X to close the page. I've tried over and over and I can't get pass the page where I register. Do you have any idea what might be wrong. Did the malware or registry cleaner delete an important file that needs to be there to upload pictures.....I have no idea what to do. Hope someone can help.
Thanks a lot for reading through my thread!

Hi and welcome.
Did you allow the registry cleaner to backup any files that it may have deleted?
Registry cleaners can and often do delete files that you later find that you need for a program etc.

Maybe too late to read this.
Why not to use a reg cleaner..

Unhappy re:help
Thanks, I restored the stuff I took out by using the registry cleaner but now I wonder if the scan from the malware program did it because it still boots me out the minute I try to register my account. I have no idea why it would do that, do I need to download a program to make it work again and if I do then what program do I need? I'm lost!

Unlikely to be the Malware program..which one is it?

Can you try another Pc and see if you can access said site?

Registry cleaners can stop your Pc from booting up at all..so you may have had a lucky escape from that happening.

What malware program did you use? Most of them quarantine removed traces/files, so that you can bring them back. Look for Quarantine or Chest in your malware program.
