Question Norton 360's "ONE CLICK SUPPORT PAGE"
I keep getting these 2 Results: "Live update command line registration, status: not fixed.
"check for autoprotect, status: not fixed." (with a red x next to each). What do I do to correct this?

Hi Goldy,

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.

It appears that your installation of Norton 360 has become corrupted. The easiest and quickest solution to this problem is to properly uninstall and reinstall Norton 360. However, you should first make sure that you have all Windows patches applied before doing so.

1. Click on the following link to download the Norton Removal Tool:

Norton Removal Tool and Instructions

2. After you run the tool, please restart your computer. Then log in to Windows again and run the removal tool again. Restart your computer after it is finished running the second time as well.

3. Make sure that your internet connection is working properly, and then reinstall Norton 360. Towards the end of the installation process, the LiveUpdate feature will automatically run and download and install updates to both the program files and definition files. By default, LiveUpdate is set to "Automatic" and it will check for and install updates in the background, multiple times per day.

4. When the installation is complete, launch Norton 360 and mouse-over the "PC Security" blob and select "Check for Updates." When that process is complete, you should perform a "Comprehensive Scan" with Norton 360 to check for infections.

Let me know if you experience any problems.

Thank you,
Mike
