Solved: logging on
When I log on there's an option box to check "keep me signed in for 2 weeks".Even though I check the box it still asks me to sign in the next time I go to log on.I tried reinstalling the browser but it didn't work.Is there anything else I can do?

logging in
Thanks for your help,
My browser is firefox.I,m signing in to my homepage, which is "Verizon Yahoo".Like I said, there's an option on the sign in page to "keep me signed in for 2 weeks".Problem is,I'm asked to sign in the next time I get on the computer. It doesn't matter whether I sign in on firefox or internet explorer, the results are the same.
I should mention that I'm kinda new with computers and hope you understand me okay.

I asked you if the remember me function works on other sites, does it ? Also Firefox does not share cookies with Internet Explorer so if you check the box in Firefox it will only work in Firefox unless you do the same in Internet Explorer.

I should have phrased that differently. When I check the remember me function I should be able to get on "Verizon Yahoo" without having to sign in the next time I log on.From "Verizon Yahoo",my home page,I go to my Email mailbox.I'm not sure that I understand you when you ask if I can go to other sites.

I am asking if the same function will work with other sites that provide the option.

Lets see if I got this.Once I'm signed in I can go to any other site that I want whether I use the remember me function or not.The option is only offered when I first sign in to get to my homepage.

If you check remember me on Yahoo, it will only work with your Yahoo login. This is the same for every other site that offers a remember me function.

That's correct. The Keep me signed in for 2 weeks is only for Verizon Yahoo sign in.Some sites that I go to offer me a "do you want this site to remember your sign in information". I can only get to my Email by signing into Verizon Yahoo.
