Usb read only?
Hi,

I work in a school and currently we are designing a systemt for language files to be used from a usb, these are to be distributed to language teachers. Is there any way of making the usb read only? and we mean without using the lock switches...we are also aware you can re-strict usb activity on individual computers but this isnt what we want to do. Can anyone help thanks.

I am not aware of any means of doing what you want, it would require bespoke (hand tailored) driver for the USB at computer level.
