external hard-drive security
Can anyone tell me how to secure an external harddrive so that it cannot be accessed if lost or stolen

You can try adding all the files that are on it into compressed zip files and you can have them passworded, not sure if you can put a password on the hard drive itself though, if anyone knows that would be nice because i just got my own yesterday

It appears that there are external hard drive that can be made secure by using a password. Here is one http://blogs.pcmag.com/miller/2008/1...hard_drive.php
