I would say away from Uniblue registry and other Uniblue sofware.

Don't have any atttoolbar.dll on my computer and I got the FREE antivirus software for Windows with anti-spyware - avast! Home Edition.
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

I have not had to get a new license key yet so don't know how good or what trouble there is but I would think you just register again like I guess your trying to do.

But the atttoolbar.dll makes me wonder. Did Avast want to install a toolbar?

Do you have the atttoolbar.dll file on your computer?
It is a atttoolbar.dll belonging to AT&T Toolbar from AT&T

Did you have the toolbar and uninstall it. If so Avast my have it in a file or regisrty till and now can't find it to renew things.
You could post over at http://forum.avast.com/

concerning atttoolbar.dll and Avast!
Thanks for the reply. You have good points and I'll follow up on them. After attempts to reinstate my free Avast and regardless of the fact that I couldn't complete the re-registration, I found a new Key code and a statement that my registration was complete sitting in my mailbox today. I'll be trying the install process again today and see how far I get. After much searching, I did find a file called atttoolbar.dll on the computer after all. And to answer your question, I did contact AT&T about the "missing atttoolbar.dll" file. They told me they couldn't help me. I'd have to contact Avast!

i have renewed avast on a few friends and family pc's and all you need to do is go to the registration page, re register and they email you a key, then put that key into avast and you have another year of free use
No need to re-install umless avast change there virus engine, which they may have done during the year, but you usually get a prompt at the time to re-install anyway

just thursday this week, my "uncle in law" had a problem with his PC and a paid for virus service, we unloaded the paid for version and installed avast, it found a trojan, fixed it and now the PC is running fantastic, so another please avast user
