Norton scans
HI to All.
Today while I was connected to the internet, suddenly I had around 20-30 browser windows open. After I finally closed all of them, worried that something was wrong with my pc, I ran a full system scan.
As the scan was running I noticed Trojan.Horst was being scanned. Norton however did not flag this up. I spoke with norton and they said speak to dell... but instead I found this site.
I ran another scan and saw various other low threat viruses/trojans ( low threat says the norton website, when googled).
My question is, if norton didn't flag them up, has it already dealt with them, if not why wouldn't it.
Also how do I locate them and destroy them????
I really appreciate any help with this.
So cheers in advance

Hello Sharkyboy. I am not a malware expert, but this isn't the malware site. First thing I would do is download a different antivirus program.(Never did like Norton. Too hungry for system resources.) Then download some good antispyware programs. I use MalwareBytes,SuperAntiSpyware,SpywareBlaster, and SpywareGuard. Update all, disconnect from web, reboot into Safe Mode and run scans.

Cheers for the quick reply hrlow2.
I have now done as you have suggested and that all seems fine now.
I'll leave it for a couple of days and see how it goes, once again though cheers.
