Free virus software as good as "paid"?
My ISP is offering free access to a McAfee. "$120 value".

Is this going to be as good as if I actually went to the store and bought it? Is it really the same thing?

It should be the very same as if you paid for it. But your ISP is who paid for it and if you change ISP's then the software will not update. Otherwise it's as good as if you paid for it.

no mcafee sucks, it uses way to much system recources and has a bad detection. get avast home which includes boot time scans and get comdodo firewall- rated best firewall. free is starting to be better than paid!!!!!!
