Norton 360 V2 seems to have an issue.
Over the past week I've had no end of trouble with my IE7 under Vista. Running slow and freezing.

Tonight I deinstalled Norton 360 V2 and all the issues appear to have gone. All I want is a simple Anti virus and spyware protection suite. The One Care product from microsoft seems too overblown. I tried Norton internet security 2009 and Live update won't run properly. Their chat session doesn't appear to be working and for some reason I can't post on their forum.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a reliable and fast antivirus package please?

Well I ran the Norton removal tool and tried loading the trial version of Norton Internet Security 2009 again. It now seems update properly and my issue with IE7 seems much better. Just one freeze yesterday. Before the Virgin Media home page would freeze every time.
