Angry Solved: Norton Internet Security: number of subscription days won't change!
Norton Internet Security 2007 is showing that I've got 251 days of subscription remaining...since 2 or 3 days (or even longer?)! Anyway, I'm very sure it's been showing the same number of days for more than 24 hours!
Laptop runs on Windows Vista Home Premium and Service Pack1.
Any idea what's wrong? At this rate, I might miss the time when I'm due to renew my subscription if no subtraction is taking place!

You should contact Symantec (Norton)
Norton Support: http://www.symantec.com/support/index.jsp
Or
Contact Norton: http://www.symantec.com/feedback/contactus.jsp

I hesitated with using Norton support, since I've heard about long waiting times and since an analyst once insisted that two Corel Intervideo dlls were hacktools and disagreed with me that they were false positives. Turns out he was wrong and I was right...
But this time, I got lucky.
Okey-dokey, I went to the Swiss site of Symantec (since I live in Switzerland) and tried to chat. Unfortunately, the chat service is only available from Monday till Friday over there. So I tried the USA site. Chat service 24/7! After about 15 minutes waiting, an analyst came to the rescue and managed to solve the problem. Here is the solution:
Open Protection Center of NIS.
Go to the tab "Norton Internet Security"
Go to "Support"
Go to "Subscription"
Choose second option in the window that appears: "Restore or use my subscription using my ProductKey" and click next
Type in or copy-paste product key.
The NIS product will connect to the Norton server and ask you to log into your Norton account. Do so. It will then list the correct number of days remaining until the subscription expires. Click on Finish; Protection Center will now display the correct number of days remaining. Ouff!
