Hi,

I received a weird email on my hotmail 2 days ago. it was from abc_321 abc321 and the mail was iwillkill.you@hotmail.com, i didnt know the person. i opened the mail and clicked on show content, and it was empty . then i deleted the mail. The next day some friend of mine told me at school that it was him , but he seems to hide the reason why it was empty.

I have kaspersky internet security 2009 commercially licensed and fully updated. It didn't detect anything when i opened the mail. But this guy , is a hacker, and a good one. How do i know if my pc is infected somehow ? Is kaspersky not enough ?

That's not funny,& I would treat it as an attack on my comp.You can now never be 100% sure that he didn't put something on your comp.I would seek legal advice.

Absolutely,,you need to make sure you have a software firewall on,a good one,you have to scan your computer for anything now,keylogger,worm,virus,any form of malware.You just don't know what he may have done.
The whole idea of malware is not to let you know it's there.It could be sending him all kinds of information
Take what he did very seriously,that's why I suggested seeking legal advice.You caught one of the bad guys.

and btw i scanned with kaspersky internet secuirty 2009 and ad-aware 2008 (free edition) and i found a few infections..but still can't be sure if its sorted out yet.

You caught a hacker who hacked your computer.I would see if he can be charged with an offense.I don't know what the laws are so you need to talk to someone who can tell you what legal recourse you have,if any.
If that happened to me I would be furious.

umm.. am in united arab emirates (dubai) its not like in the states here, i mean for god's sake they dun even care about p2p shares xD!
